“Joyful escape” is a soft abstract piece that portrays the joy behind every experience that life brings to our existence. The soft pink mellows beneath the blue to create soft pastels that bring life to the canvas.
With the application of quality acrylic paints using the Acrylic Pouring technique on 50 × 60 thin edge canvas, the art of illumination was also used in the completely handmade work.

About the artist:
Hi, I’m Tay, an Australian primary school teacher who has been deeply moved by art from a young age. I have always loved the feelings related to different artworks, and this is what I knew my passion would be, evoking feelings through my art.
My art often calms my soul and allows myself to express my emotions through the art-making process. My anxiety, or big feelings are lifted when the beauty of the artwork is present. I focus on making art to help enhance my emotional maturity, when life throws its curve balls, art is a constant. I aim to make the audience (you) feel a sense of peace and wisdom through the showing of my art. Whatever it may be that you see in this piece, I hope you can find your own meaning.
